So when I first moved to Berlin I thought it was 'weird' enough that a beer was named 'kid' or having to do with a child....'umm...what?', but I always saw very small images of the Berliner Kindl beer logo and I just always thought the 'swoosh' coming out of the mug was beer suds or whatever....
Then one day I took a closer look and noticed...'umm...the 'beer sud swoosh' has EYES!'
Yes, people, it's true, the people of Berlin have been making beer out of their children since the late 1800's....
(Ok, that is a lie, no children were harmed in the actual making of Berliner Kindl beer....but seriously, how 'times change', eh? To think at one time this was, and apparently still is, a perfectly acceptable logo....hmm....)
