So, in the previous post I showed you a picture of some of the people that I visited/interviewed. Long story short: a lady in this group said 'oh, we've been trying to find my aunt's family in the States, but we can't...' and I said 'I can try to help...I can't promise anything, but I'll see...'
She was looking for her aunt who left Europe for the US in 1909!!! Umm...yeah....
Anyway, I went to familysearch.org and put in the lady's name and there she was! Gratefully also, there was a contact name and address of the lady who had submitted her name. I found her phone number online, called her up (she lives in Idaho) and I emailed her the photos that my German friend had given me. The lady from Idaho was like 'yeah! Yeah! That is my great-great Grandmother!' ;)
So, long story short: these two lines of a family are now in contact! Amazing and cool all wrapped up in one....
