It's so funny...northern Germans who consider themselves 'truly German' always speak of Bavaria like it's another country....they say 'Oh Bavaria?! They only 'became' Germans 100 years ago!' It's funny what you learn living in a place...

This was the BlasOrchester from the local town just on the Austrian side of the border where we stayed. They welcomed us to the area by playing for us and then two local mayors spoke. Very nice indeed...









Then the Church Educational System 'kidnapped' us in order to make a movie. We all had to run into a local Salzburg chapel without looking into the camera. Twas hard, so it was, but the old NPHS drama training came through!







Salzburg is the 'burg' (fortress) of the Salzach river. Beeeautiful if I say so myself!
